AIM FAQ
Q: What are "AIM Expressions" ?
A: AIM Expressions are custom looks or layouts for your AOL Instant Messenger. They change the buddy list and instant message boxes to look a special way, adding backgrounds, images, and more. Sometimes they come with fonts and personalized buddy icons. Q: How can I use an AIM Expression?
A: Just click on the "Download Expression" link or the picture screen preview. That will automatically install the expression on your system. Click YES when it prompts you to start using the expression immediately, and you're done! Q: How can I use a Buddy Icon I find on the site with AIM?
A: Just click on the Buddy Icon on the page. AIM should than ask you if you're sure you want to use that icon, click YES. That should install the icon immediately on your instant messages. Q: How do I make my own Buddy Icon?
A: All you have to do is create a picture that is 50x50 in pixel size, and voila, you have a Buddy Icon! Than you can go into AIM and browse to the picture to use it as your icon, or send it to IMHaven.com to be featured. It's that easy! Q: How can I remove an AIM Expression I have been using?
A: If you are using an Expression that you no longer want to use you can open up the AIM Preferences window by selecting "Edit Options" then "Edit Preferences" on your AIM menu. Then under the Expressions settings select "standard" as your expression. Q: Can I use Buddy Icons with normal America Online?
